Yorkshire Tea and Channel 5 are searching for Britain’s tastiest cricket tea – and our favourite will win their clubhouse a brand new kitchen worth £10,000!
The competition will also feature on The Test Highlights Show on Channel 5 during the Investec Ashes Series, with the world expert in cricket teas, Michael Vaughan, among the judges.
So if your club’s tea break means brilliant bakes and stupendous sarnies, we want to hear about it. First up, select your two team members. Then press enter here and follow the steps online.
We’re judging three elements:
- 1) Cake
- 2) Sandwiches
- 3) The Show Stealer (that special something you pull out of the hat)
To enter, just upload 4 simple photos – one of your cricket tea, one of your clubhouse, and one each of your two team members. We’ll also ask you to tell us what makes your tea the best in Britain.
Entrants will be whittled down to four finalists for a day of final judging in The Long Room at Lord's, where we’ll put the cricket teas through their tasty paces and pick a winner. Closing date of 24th May.
